Orange County Airport
Private chauffeur transportation to and from John Wayne Airport with flight monitoring, professional drivers and coordinated airport pickup across Orange County.
John Wayne Airport sits in Santa Ana at the centre of Orange County, within a short drive of Newport Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa and the business parks that surround the 405 and 55 freeways.
It is the practical gateway for Orange County business travel and for the coastal resort corridor running from Huntington Beach down through Laguna Beach and Dana Point. For most Orange County addresses, SNA saves an hour or more each way compared with LAX.
The terminal is comfortably sized and easy to navigate, and noise-abatement rules mean the flight schedule is concentrated during the day — worth knowing when planning an early departure or a late arrival.
Chauffeur Service
ELS provides pre-arranged chauffeur transportation between SNA and resorts, hotels, private residences, corporate offices, meetings, events and other airports throughout Orange County and Southern California.
Orange County travel is often a mix of business and leisure in the same trip: a morning meeting in Irvine, an afternoon at a Newport Coast resort, then dinner in Laguna. A confirmed chauffeur removes the parking, valet and navigation friction from that day.
Sedans handle single travellers and couples; Cadillac Escalade ESV SUVs suit families arriving with luggage or golf equipment; Sprinters carry corporate groups and wedding parties moving together.
The Process
Provide the airport, airline, flight number, date, passenger count, luggage details and destination.
ELS monitors the relevant flight arrival information ahead of your pickup.
Your chauffeur coordinates the pickup according to actual arrival information and airport procedures.
You meet your chauffeur at the appropriate designated pickup location for your terminal.
The chauffeur assists with luggage and transportation continues directly to your destination.
Arrivals
We coordinate your pickup from the actual arrival information rather than the published schedule, so the chauffeur is in position as you reach the ground transportation level.
Pickup location depends on terminal, airport regulations and the type of service reserved. Professional chauffeur pickups at SNA are handled under the airport's rules for pre-arranged ground transportation, which are not the same as rideshare pickup areas. Your chauffeur or ELS dispatch will confirm the meeting location before pickup.
If you would prefer to be met inside the terminal, request Meet & Greet when you book.
Departures
Your chauffeur coordinates the departure time around your airline, terminal, departure time, traffic on the 405, 55 and 73, your own preference and the arrival time your airline recommends.
We do not guarantee travel times. Orange County peak-hour traffic and summer coastal congestion are both worth building a buffer around.
Drop-off is at the appropriate permitted departure location for your airline, following current airport regulations, with luggage assistance at the curb.
Meet & Greet
Meet & Greet may be requested at SNA when available and permitted. Your chauffeur coordinates the appropriate meeting point and may carry a personalized name sign so arriving guests are met without confusion.
Meeting procedures follow current airport regulations and are limited to publicly permitted areas. ELS does not promise access to secure or restricted areas of the airport.
Where We Drive
The Orange County and Southern California transfers we run most often from John Wayne Airport.
Important Airport Information
Flight information allows us to monitor your arrival and coordinate the pickup accurately.
Pickup procedures vary by terminal and follow the airport's rules for pre-arranged chauffeur service, which differ from rideshare procedures.
Coastal and freeway traffic in Orange County can affect departure timing, especially in summer.
Guests travelling with golf clubs, surfboards or substantial luggage should note it at booking so the right vehicle is assigned.
Meet & Greet arrangements should be requested when making the reservation.
Private Aviation
Orange County's private aviation facilities are split between Campus Drive in Santa Ana and Airway and Paularino Avenue in Costa Mesa. Each entrance is separate from the commercial terminal, so pickups are dispatched by facility name.
FBO
19301 Campus Dr, Santa Ana, CA 92707
ACI Jet's north facility on Campus Drive handles corporate and charter aircraft at SNA. ACI Jet car service through Exodus Limo is arranged in advance with tail-number monitoring, so the chauffeur is in position when the aircraft parks. Transfers to Newport Beach, Irvine business parks and Laguna Beach are routine from here.
FBO
19711 Campus Dr, Santa Ana, CA 92707
The south facility sits further along Campus Drive with its own entrance and lobby. ACI Jet South chauffeur service is dispatched to the specific building on your trip sheet rather than to the airport generally. Executive SUVs are assigned for parties travelling with golf clubs or extended luggage.
FBO / private aviation facility
361 Paularino Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Clay Lacy's Orange County facility on Paularino Avenue supports charter, management and private operations. Clay Lacy Orange County transportation is booked ahead with a confirmed chauffeur, which suits executives moving directly from the aircraft into a meeting. Long-distance transfers to Los Angeles, Palm Springs and San Diego are quoted in advance.
Public-charter passenger terminal (not an FBO)
3000 Airway Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92626
JSX operates a public-charter, private-style passenger terminal on Airway Avenue in Costa Mesa — a scheduled service rather than a fixed-base operator. JSX Orange County transportation is timed around its short check-in process so departures are not rushed. Black car service links the terminal with Newport Beach, Irvine, Anaheim and Los Angeles.
