Los Angeles Airport
Private chauffeur transportation to and from Los Angeles International Airport with flight monitoring, professional drivers and coordinated airport pickup.
Los Angeles International Airport sits on the Westside of Los Angeles, between Westchester, El Segundo and Playa del Rey, roughly fifteen miles southwest of Downtown. It is the primary international gateway for Southern California and the busiest airport in the region by a wide margin.
LAX is built around a horseshoe of separate terminals plus the Tom Bradley International Terminal, which means the arrivals and departures experience changes noticeably depending on the airline you are flying. Terminal-specific coordination matters far more here than at the region's smaller airports.
Passenger volume, ongoing construction around the central terminal area and heavy roadway traffic all affect timing. Pre-arranged chauffeur transportation exists precisely because those conditions reward planning rather than improvisation.
Chauffeur Service
ELS provides pre-arranged chauffeur transportation between LAX and hotels, private residences, corporate offices, meetings, resorts, events, other airports and long-distance destinations across Southern California. Every trip is reserved in advance with a confirmed vehicle and chauffeur.
This is executive car service, not rideshare. Your chauffeur works from your flight information and the airport's ground transportation procedures for professional operators, rather than from an app queue. Luggage assistance, wait allowance and dispatch support are part of the service.
For arrivals into Tom Bradley or long-haul international flights, most passengers pair the transfer with Meet & Greet so the chauffeur is waiting inside the terminal. Group arrivals with substantial luggage are typically better served by an SUV or Sprinter.
The Process
Provide the airport, airline, flight number, date, passenger count, luggage details and destination.
ELS monitors the relevant flight arrival information ahead of your pickup.
Your chauffeur coordinates the pickup according to actual arrival information and airport procedures.
You meet your chauffeur at the appropriate designated pickup location for your terminal.
The chauffeur assists with luggage and transportation continues directly to your destination.
Arrivals
After you land, ELS coordinates the pickup based on your actual arrival information rather than the scheduled time. Your chauffeur is dispatched so the vehicle is in position as you clear the terminal.
Pickup location depends on your terminal, current airport regulations and the type of service reserved. Your chauffeur or ELS dispatch will confirm the appropriate meeting location before pickup, and will contact you directly once you are on the ground.
International arrivals should allow additional time for immigration, baggage claim and customs. Wait time allowances for international flights are longer for exactly this reason.
Departures
For departures, your chauffeur coordinates the pickup time based on your airline, terminal, departure time, expected traffic conditions, your own preference and the arrival time your airline recommends.
We do not guarantee travel times — Los Angeles traffic and the LAX central terminal roadway are unpredictable — but we plan conservatively and monitor conditions on the day of travel.
You are dropped at the appropriate permitted departure location for your terminal, according to current airport regulations for professional ground transportation. Your chauffeur assists with luggage at the curb.
Meet & Greet
Meet & Greet may be requested at LAX when available and permitted. Your chauffeur coordinates the appropriate meeting point and may carry a discreet personalized name sign so you are met without searching.
Meeting procedures follow current airport regulations, and access is limited to publicly permitted areas. ELS does not promise access to secure or restricted areas of the airport.
Where We Drive
Common transfers from Los Angeles International Airport, from Westside hotels to long-distance runs down the coast.
Important Airport Information
Flight information — airline and flight number — allows us to monitor your arrival and coordinate the pickup accurately.
Pickup procedures at LAX vary by terminal and are subject to current airport regulations for professional ground transportation.
Central terminal roadway traffic and Westside congestion can affect departure timing; plan a conservative pickup time.
Passengers travelling with oversized or substantial luggage should note it at booking so the right vehicle class is assigned.
Meet & Greet should be requested when making the reservation, not on arrival day.
Private Aviation
Private aviation at LAX runs along West Imperial Highway, on the south side of the airport and entirely separate from the commercial terminal horseshoe. Pickups there follow the facility's own procedures, so the route in is planned before you land.

Atlantic Aviation operates a private terminal a short distance east along Imperial Highway.
