Executive Protection & Armed Security in Los Angeles: Starting the Conversation
How armed protection works at Exodus Limo Service: an optional addition to your chauffeured transportation, never a standalone service — and what to confirm before you book.

For executives, VIPs and private clients visiting Los Angeles, personal protection deserves its own conversation. It is not simply another feature of a luxury vehicle, and it should not be assumed to be included when you reserve a chauffeur.
Exodus Limo Service offers Executive Protection & Armed Security in one specific way: as an addition to transportation booked with us. We do not provide armed protection as a standalone service — it is available only together with our chauffeured vehicles, arranged as one coordinated booking.
Protection is an add-on to your transportation, never standalone
This is the most important point to understand before inquiring. Exodus Limo Service is a chauffeured transportation company, and armed protection is offered exclusively to clients who book their vehicle and chauffeur with us. If you are looking for a security detail without transportation, this service is not the right fit.
For clients who do book transportation, the arrangement stays simple: one company, one itinerary, one conversation. Your black Cadillac Escalade and professional chauffeur are the foundation, and discreet armed protection is added when you request it and the scope is confirmed. You can also explore our corporate transportation and confidential transportation pages while preparing your request.
What to include in your first inquiry
An initial request does not need to contain a detailed security plan. A short outline gives the conversation a useful starting point while leaving sensitive matters for an appropriate follow-up discussion. Avoid placing confidential documents, personal vulnerabilities or detailed security procedures in a general contact form.
- The dates and approximate duration of your transportation.
- The locations involved and the vehicle you have in mind.
- A note that you would like armed protection added to the booking.
- Your preferred contact method for a follow-up discussion.
Credentials matter more than a broad marketing label
Before accepting an arrangement, ask who is contracting to provide the protection and which licenses, registrations, authorizations and insurance apply. An individual's authority to carry a firearm does not, by itself, establish the licensing status of a commercial private-security service.
California's Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) provides official licensing information. Its peace-officer FAQ describes specific exemptions; it should not be read as a blanket approval for every private-security arrangement. Requirements depend on the provider and the work proposed, so confirm the particular arrangement with BSIS or qualified California counsel when needed.
This article is not a claim that Exodus Limo Service holds a private-security license, nor a verification of a particular protection provider's credentials. Those details need to be established before proceeding. A transportation permit is not evidence of private-security authorization.
Agree on the scope before making a commitment
A clear discussion should establish who will perform the work, the locations and times involved, the responsibilities being accepted and what is not included. Confirm availability and the proposed terms rather than assuming an inquiry has secured personnel or a particular level of protection.
No single description can answer every client's needs, and no protection service can promise the elimination of all risk. The purpose of the first conversation is to determine what is being requested and what can legitimately be agreed.
Discuss your needs with Exodus Limo Service
To begin, visit our Executive Protection & Armed Security page or request a quote through the existing contact form. Describe the transportation you need and mention that you would like armed protection added to the booking.
A quote request starts a conversation. It does not confirm a booking or an armed-security assignment. Remember that protection is available only together with our transportation, and confirm the provider, applicable credentials, availability and agreed scope before proceeding.
